Eric Lehnhardt is a Ph.D. candidate in Biological Engineering at MIT. His research focuses on engineering biological materials to create membranes and catalysts for carbon dioxide capture and use. He is a 2020-2021 MathWorks Engineering Fellow at MIT, and an Alfred P. Sloan 2016-2020 Scholar. Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Summa Cume Laude, with a minor in Spanish, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, from Arizona State University. Eric has been a consistent mentor to underrepresented students in the MIT Biological Engineering Application Assistance Program and through the New York Academy of Sciences.
